Michael Mawby Named President of Gerbing Motorsports

In his new role, Mawby will be responsible for all business functions, product and business development, sales, marketing, and manufacturing for the Gerbing Motorsport division, including all 12v business. Most recently he has been the Director of Motorsport Sales at Gerbing.

Michael “Tex” Mawby has been named President of Gerbing Motorsports. In his new role, Mawby will be responsible for all business functions, product and business development, sales, marketing, and manufacturing for the Gerbing Motorsport division, including all 12v business. Most recently he has been the Dir. of Motorsport Sales at Gerbing.

Gerbing in the Motorsports Division,” said Mawby.

Mawby has had a successful career in the motorsports industry. Prior to joining Gerbing, he spent seven years as Eastern U.S. and Canadian Sales Manager for REV’IT! Sport USA, a Dutch brand that manufactures technical motorcycle apparel. Mawby has been an avid rider and amateur road racer for14 years, winning four national championships with AMA, WERA, and the USCRA road racing series.

 

In his sparetime he buys and restores vintage motorcycles and currently owns 22 bikes. Mawby has a degree in English and a degree in History from Penn State University, and currently lives in Philadelphia, PA.
