Segway Powersports Adds 2 Regional Business Managers and Field Marketing Manager

Shea Fouchek and Stephen Schoen will fill regional business manager roles, with Jake McGeorge tapped for the new field marketing manager position.

With its goal of becoming a leading powersports vehicle provider in the U.S., Segway Powersports continues to add industry professionals with the skills and experience needed to meet its growth initiatives. Thus, the company has announced the appointment of Shea Fouchek and Steve Schoen as its newest regional business managers, along with Jake McGeorge, who joins the Segway team as its new field marketing manager. The three new hires bring 43 years of combined industry experience to their roles with Segway Powersports as the company continues to expand its footprint in the U.S. market.

Shea Fouchek, Regional Business Manager

Shea Fouchek brings 10 years of powersports industry sales experience to his new role as a regional business manager. His previous roles include independent sales representative and district sales manager for multiple UTV and motorcycle manufacturers, most recently KTM. Fouchek has been tasked with supporting Segway’s current dealer network in South Texas while seeking new dealer partners and business opportunities in the region. He’s most excited to bring his industry experience and relationships to Segway as he employs a customer-service-first approach with dealer partners and during retail customer interactions.

Stephen Schoen, Regional Business Manager

Stephen Schoen began racing motocross at 13 and has been a part of the off-road scene his entire life. For the past 23 years, he’s worked as a sales manager and brand manager as well as in business development and outside sales roles for some of the most reputable brands and distributors in powersports. Like Fouchek, Schoen has been tasked with growing existing dealer sales and expanding Segway’s dealer network, specifically in North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. Schoen believes in creating a dealer partner network built on trust, where each dealer knows their best interests are his number one priority.

Jake McGeorge, Field Marketing Manager

Jake McGeorge brings over a decade of professional event production experience to his new role as field marketing manager, including Feld Entertainment motorcycle and four-wheel events for Kawasaki. With his broad range of technical skills — from lighting and audio engineering to event planning, production and execution — McGeorge is excited to bring a new level of excitement and professionalism to Segway’s demo and display events. He’s also been tasked with building a more robust social media program to create consumer interest and increase sales opportunities for its dealer partners. But more than anything, McGeorge is excited to work for a company that walks the walk when pushing the limits of possibilities.

“We’re honored to have these three experienced industry professionals join the Segway Powersports team,” explained Jason Walling, vice president of sales and marketing for Segway Powersports. “It’s such an exciting time to be part of the Segway Powersports team as we continue to grow as a company. We’re fortunate to be in the position to be able to attract and hire talented people like Shea, Stephen and Jake. Their industry knowledge and experience will make them valuable additions to the Segway Powersports team.”
