Recognized as a pioneer in the motorcycle industry, Parts Unlimited founder and motorcycle industry pioneer, Fred Fox becomes one of the latest inductees to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame.

Fox founded Parts Unlimited in 1967 with the goal of providing motorcycle dealers with the quality products, delivered in the shortest amount of time. Fox has also helped foster the racing side of the industry through his longtime support of both professional and amateur racing series, teams and riders. Additionally, Fox has spent more than a decade serving on various motorcycle industry boards and advisory committees, with the goal of continually improving the sport of motorcycling.

“Fred has stuck to the fundamentals of fill-rate, consistency, fairness and support since the day he started in business,” said Greg Blackwell, VP of sales for parent company LeMans Corporation. “These principles and his leadership have inspired the LeMans subsidiaries to become worldwide leaders in their respective categories. I think I speak for the more than 1,200 LeMans employees in saying how proud we are of Fred’s appointment. It is well deserved.”

The induction ceremony will be part of the 2011 American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) Legends & Champions Weekend at the Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa in Las Vegas, Nev., November 18-20.
