Design Engineering Inc. Hires New Powersports Market Manager

Brian Van Koevering has close to 15 years of powersports marketing and brand management experience. He most recently served as PowerParts accessory program manager for KTM North America and has previously worked with Enduro Engineering and Gardener-Westcott Company.

Design Engineering Inc. (DEI) has named Brian Van Koevering as the company’s new powersports market manager.

Van Koevering has close to 15 years of powersports marketing and brand management experience. He most recently served as PowerParts accessory program manager for KTM North America and has previously worked with Enduro Engineering and Gardener-Westcott Company. He will be responsible for driving revenue growth for the entire powersports market segment, which includes motorcycle, personal watercraft, ATV/UTV/off-road, snowmobile and marine. He reports to Tom Miller, VP sales and marketing.

“We are very fortunate to have someone with Brian’s credentials to join our team to help us chart an aggressive growth strategy for our powersports division," said Miller. "Brian’s previous experience included developing and sourcing numerous motorcycle products on a global level, including his experience at the OE level. He has a wide breadth of product management experience, and we feel confident his contribution will accelerate our growth within the powersports market in brand awareness, increased distribution and profitability.”

The DEI powersports product line includes pipe wrap and wrap kits, fairing kits, gas tank covers, heat reflective materials, line and hose protection, and performance-enhancing products.
