Hudson Valley Motorcycles Adds Alta Motors To Brand Lineup

Bringing Alta Motors into the family allows HVMC to lay the groundwork for future technology in the electric motorcycle segment.

Hudson Valley Motorcycles (HVMC) has announced the addition of Alta Motors electric motorcycles to the growing line of brands available at the dealership. Bringing Alta Motors into the family allows HVMC to lay the groundwork for future technology in the electric motorcycle segment.

Motorcycling has been a way of life for the owners of HVMC, with three generations of Alexanders currently working at the dealership.

“We at HVMC are extremely excited to rejuvenate off-road motorcycling in the Tri-State area, said General Manager Richie Alexander Jr. “Over the years, stricter regulations and an ever-growing population have continually limited places for enthusiasts to enjoy off-road riding. We believe that the Alta Motors Redshift MX and SM offer our customers a new way to keep this sport we all love alive and thriving. I am personally thrilled to help the Alta brand continue its growth and to see what new models and updates will arrive in the future.”

The Alta Motors Redshift MX – Alta’s electric motocross model – is presently in stock at Hudson Valley Motorcycles. The Alta Redshift MX is a transformative model for the New York City, Westchester County and the Hudson Valley region. The Redshift MX offers customers a nearly silent off-road machine with hardly any disruption to neighbors, wildlife, or other non-enthusiasts. This makes the Redshift MX a perfect solution for an increasingly congested region. HVMC is currently taking pre-orders for the Redshift SM – Alta’s electric supermoto model – and they expect deliveries to begin mid-August. The Redshift SM is street legal and allows for a fully electric, high-performance riding experience.

“HVMC are enthusiasts first and foremost, and it shows in the dealership experience,” added Alta Motors Director of Sales Jeremy Cleland. “With a rich and versatile history of racing, bike customization and fostering relationships throughout the riding community this is an awesome addition the to the Alta dealer network. We are thrilled to now have dealers from coast-to-coast across the US. We are especially excited to have HVMC as our first and only New York Alta retailer!”
