Orange County Choppers’ (OCC) merchandising division, known as Hudson Valley Merchandising, has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Parent company OCC did not file.
Poughkeepsie, N.Y.,-based Hudson Valley Merchandising filed court papers last week that list $1.12 million in assets and $1.44 million in debt. A trustee has been appointed to liquidate the company’s assets.
“American Chopper,” a reality show that featured the company and its founder Paul Teutul Sr., ended its decade-long run on the Discovery Channel in December.
