MIC Symposium: Electrification of Powersports, Part 2

The conversation continues Thursday, May 26 at 10 a.m. PT.

Due to the high interest and tremendous feedback for the April Symposium episode, the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) is reassembling our expert panel for another deep dive into the electrification of powersports, featuring:

  • Laurence Kuykendall, marketing director, Energica Motor Co.
  • Rod Lopusnak, general manager, Triumph Motorcycles North America
  • Dan Quick, director of communications, Zero Motorcycles.

The panel will again be moderated by Scott Schloegel, senior vice president of government relations for the MIC. If you missed Part 1, you may want to watch the video to hear Schloegel’s update on the current state and federal policy and regulatory landscape (mic.org).

In this follow-up webinar, the panel will dig deeper into the issues you identified as the most impactful to your business:

  • What challenges will dealerships face with the addition of electric motorcycles?
  • What does battery development look like in five years?
  • What are the original equipment manufacturers doing to transition e-bicycle riders to e-motorcycles?
  • How can manufacturers serve the industry by offering new products, from high-performance electric motorcycles, ATV and UTVs to bikes and eScooters?

To prepare yourself and your business, it is essential to understand how plug-in technology will affect our industry.
