MTA Hires 4 New Sales Reps

MTA announced the hiring of four new outside sales reps to strengthen their national coverage.  

Jack Ramsey will be located in the Northeast region covering the states of WV and VA.

Before coming to MTA, Ramsey was the general manager of Princeton Powersports for over 12 years. In his time at the dealership, he worked in the parts department as well as the sales department before his managerial role. Ramsey comes from a racing background where he spent most of his time racing the GNCC series. With his vast background, Ramsey plans to make powersports his career by stating, “I love the industry and plan to spend my career advancing throughout.”

Brett Gaylord will be located in the Northeast region covering the states of ME, NH, VT, MA, CT and RI.

Gaylord started his career in the powersports industry in 1998 where he was a parts associate at a Florida dealership. A few years later, he was hired as the P & A manager for a central Florida dealership where he stayed until 2008. In 2016, he was hired on as an outside sales executive for a New England regional distributor, later that same year Brett became the North East sales rep for Seven MX where he was awarded the 2017 Rep of the Year.

When not traveling the North East, Gaylord can be found at the local MX track racing the VET class and cheering on his son who races the 85 12-15 class. Gaylord added, “I have been an enthusiast of motorsports since I was a little kid, I really do have the dream job.”

Johnathan Davis will be located in the Southeast region covering the state of Georgia.

Davis, a native to the state of Georgia had worked in the in the sports nutrition industry and as a mental health therapist with an emphasis on behavior modification and psychological testing before starting his career in powersports. Davis has been an active rider for most of his life, starting at the age of seven, his first bike was an ATC. He progressed to an ATV, then dirt bike and eventually to the street where he’s most recently been racing a BMW S1000RR in WERA for the past few seasons.

Sierra Shaver will be located in the Southwest region covering southern NV and parts of AZ.

Shaver began her career in the powersports industry at the age of 14 while working for a mom and pop dirt bike shop. She started out by cleaning bathrooms and eventually worked her way up to running the shop and even working on the bikes in service department. Shaver was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, and born into a family of adrenaline junkies. She grew up riding quads as a little girl, frequenting the sand dunes with her family. Eventually, she jumped on just about anything with an engine and worked on all her toys after watching her dad for many years. She currently races dirt bikes in various off-road series and has a championship under her belt. Shaver is passionate about the powersports industry and lives it day in and day out.
