Yamaha Motor Corporation and Powersports Data Solutions have entered into a licensing agreement for Service Manager Pro. Under this agreement all Yamaha dealers will have their own unique account with access to Service Manager Pro starting in January 2015.
“This new agreement will allow us to develop specialized content for Yamaha’s dealers and help them become more streamlined, efficient and profitable in their service departments,” said C.R. Gittere, president of Powersports Data Solutions. “The focus of our company has always been on the service department, and having Yamaha Motor Corporation as a partner will allow us to focus our development on the needs of their dealers.”
Under the terms of the agreement each Yamaha dealer will have their own unique Service Manager Pro account, allowing them to customize Service Manager Pro to fit their local market and needs. “Yamaha is committed to the success of our dealers,” said Frank Pittman, vice president, Customer Support Group, Yamaha Motor Corporation “We believe Service Manager Pro is a great tool for Yamaha dealers that will help them become more efficient, profitable and build their CSI scores – which all translate to enhanced profitability.”
Powersports Data Solutions will handle all the customer service for Yamaha dealers accessing Service Manager Pro. Service Manager Pro will be accessible from within YDS (Yamaha Dealer System) and from the dealer’s desktop allowing repair information to be located quickly and easily for dealership employees.
Yamaha Dealers can expect to have login information as early as January 2015 with specialized training classes and webinars scheduled during the winter months so users will be up to speed by spring.
