Zero Motorcycles will be supporting the second annual National Plug In Day. The event is set for Sunday, Sept. 23, and is a cross-country observance drawing national attention to the environmental, economical and additional benefits of plug-in electric vehicles (EV) and motorcycles through simultaneous events staged around the country.
“Zero Motorcycles is proud to be part of National Plug In Day. We are encouraging our dealers and customers who own and ride our electric motorcycles to get involved,” said Scot Harden, vice president of global marketing for Zero Motorcycles. “Local cities around the country will be engaging with drivers and riders, and we are excited to see electric motorcycles and cars take center stage.”
National Plug In Day helps to celebrate electric vehicles and their positive effects on the environment, as well as their low cost, convenient charging and minimal maintenance. This year’s National Plug In Day will be recognized with events in more than 60 cities across the country. Each event will be led by local EV and motorcycle owners and advocates, and will include combinations of EV parades, ride-and-drives, electric tailgate parties, press conferences, award ceremonies, informational booths and more.
