Viper Powersports Inc. has announced its 2011 marketing relationship with duPont REGISTRY.  duPont Publishing Inc. publishes six luxury/lifestyle titles, including duPont REGISTRY, that reaches individuals whose net worth significantly exceeds what is traditionally considered upscale.

John Silseth, CEO of Viper Powersports stated, “This is the perfect partner to showcase our motorcycles to the affluent enthusiast who demands unparrelled performance. Our relationship begins by sharing display space with duPont REGISTRY at the 2011 Barrett Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. The 2011 Viper Diamondback 152 will be prominently displayed during the event. We will continue the relationship throughout 2011 focusing on print media, special events and an integrated internet campaign”.

According to Terry Nesbitt, President of Viper Motorcycle Company, “as we move forward into 2011, our sales/marketing plans will become more intense and diverse as we strive for additional brand awareness and increased retail sell-thru. Retail sales of the Diamondback 152 have been excellent and with the spring introduction of our second model, the Mamba 152, we expect to see our sales grow and overall value of the Viper brand increase. Bruce Busby of Austin, Texas, a valued customer says it best; “my 2011 Diamondback delivers impressive quality, unmatched performance and tons of fun. I’ve owned them all but this motorcycle is very special”.

Nesbitt continued, “We are very fortunate to enjoy relationships of this type as well as the special partnerships we have with our dealer network and vendors. Dealers like Rick Fairless’ Stroker’s Dallas, our largest volume dealer, it’s due in part to their commitment and loyalty that produce customers like Bruce Busby”.

Nesbitt added, “Our joint venture with key partner Ilmor Engineering is strong and we will continue to co-promote in 2011. Ilmor provides the unique billet 152 cubic inch engines which are proprietary to all Viper products. They are also a major sponsor of the Desert Storm event at Lake Havasu in April. We enjoyed exceptional interest last year and I have no doubt, through increased visibility, 2011 at this event will be special. We thank Paul Ray and his staff at Ilmor and look forward to a very strong year. We will also continue our print add campaigns, magazine road tests and exposure at numerous national and regional events. Our products have been very well received and we continue to see excellent comments and praise from the press, dealers and even competitors. To quote Mark Barnett, Owner/GM, Barnett Harley Davidson and Publisher, Barnett’s Magazine, “If you are into hot rods, the Diamondback is the calmest, most refined one I’ve ever ridden, an Iron Fist in a Velvet Glove. Stephen Berner, Publisher, Ironworks Magazine, “the Diamondback is a knock-out, a Velvet Fisted Freight Train”. With these types of comments and acknowledgment of our products, 2011 promises to be a banner year for Viper Motor Company”.
