The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) recently performed a slight makeover to its corporate branding with the unveiling of a new logo. The association says it is a more modern approach that shows its ongoing commitment to preserve, protect and promote motorcycling in the U.S. The new logo builds on MIC’s heritage and positions it for the next 100 years, said the association in a press release.
“Today we are better poised than ever to deliver member programs and services that are relevant, timely and unique to all kinds of businesses that operate within the motorcycle industry,” said MIC president and CEO, Tim Buche. “With membership numbers at an all-time high of over 650 and growing, we are excited about the future and look forward to serving our member owners. We encourage all members to use the updated MIC logo on their websites and printed materials to indicate they are an active and supportive MIC member.”
While rooted in a rich heritage, the association notes that the new logo offers a contemporary, approachable look that is easy to read and recognize. By design, its clean lines reflect transparency and inclusiveness, which the association says corresponds to its growing membership and new dealer/retailer member class.
