The Motorcycle Industry Council’s (MIC) Ride With Us market expansion program is working with a few of its rider friends to boost excitement for Progressive IMS Outdoors just outside Atlanta this weekend, Oct. 29-31 — and help give away seats in a Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Basic RiderCourse class and an MSF DirtBike School.
“One of the best ways to get more riders riding more is to help folks learn to ride,” said Andria Yu, MIC director of media relations and MSF RiderCoach. “One friend, on social media as ‘Doodle on a Motorcycle,’ has a great moto-curious and new-rider audience, and we’re thrilled to be able to collaborate with her to give more people an opportunity to try motorcycling. We’re also encouraging everyone to promote the event at Progressive IMS Outdoors by sharing Doodle’s Instagram and Facebook posts.”
Ride With Us will also get help promoting motorcycling with actor Johnathan Fernández of “Gossip Girl.” He is slated to stop in at the Atlanta IMS show.
“Johnathan and his wife are both motorcycle riders, and they love doing things together, including riding,” Yu said. “We think their stories and messages will resonate with a wide audience, and we hope they inspire people to get into riding, so please watch for more from them.”
The Progressive IMS Outdoors is Friday through Sunday at the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers, Georgia. When purchasing tickets, use code RWU21 for $3 off.
