Lehman Trikes, Inc. (LTI) recently released a statement say that it has decided to suspend operations. The suspension went into effect March 9. The company has not been able to complete the proposed sale it was working on, but is continuing to pursue possible transactions to inject capital into the company.
Without such an injection the company said it is not able to continue the operations at its Spearfish, S.D. facility and has taken the step of suspending operations until further notice. Recommencing business will depend on the company securing financing or completing another transaction to fund its operations. The company statement said that there is no assurance that it will be able to secure the required funding to recommence operations.
The founder and director of Lehman Trikes, John K. Lehman, passed away on January 5, after it had announced a Letter of Intent from an investment group relating to the sale of the company.
