FIN GPS Security successfully recovered a pair of 2018 Yamaha WaveRunners in under one hour. 

A Find It Now GPS Security (FIN) customer was left in shock as thieves pulled away with his pair of Yamaha WaveRunners. He immediately contacted FIN’s 24-hour theft recovery team, followed by his local police department. A FIN theft recovery expert tracked the stolen Yamahas and relayed important location information with police. Within minutes, Miami-Dade police officers were dispatched to where the FINs were reporting, only 11 minutes from where the theft took place.

Connecting directly into the vehicle electrical system, the FIN GPS Security device will alert if the primary battery is disconnected and can report if the vehicle engine is running. This is in addition to sending speed, heading and precise latitude/longitude coordinates upon the device sensing motion or upon request of the customer or FIN theft recovery team. All data is beneficial during the theft recovery process, as a disconnected battery or a running engine can weigh into the decision-making process for authorities attempting recovery. 

Thankfully, both WaveRunners continued to report consistent voltage while at an empty lot in Miami. As the officers arrived, they were greeted by four men, all of whom allegedly had homicide warrants and were arrested. Both WaveRunners were successfully recovered without further incident.
