FIN GPS Security has announced the successful recovery of a 2021 Kawasaki Z900.

While at work, a FIN GPS customer was alerted that his 2021 Kawasaki was being moved. The customer immediately went to check on his bike and found it missing. Security footage and eyewitnesses confirmed that the motorcycle was hauled off in a trailer. The customer contacted FIN’s theft recovery team, followed by his local police department.

The FIN GPS security device provided valuable information, such as speed, heading, locations and vehicle voltage. While the thief was making his way out of the Lakeland Police jurisdiction, the Florida Highway Patrol was notified of the theft and immediately took over to provide assistance with recovery. The FIN theft recovery team tracked the Z900’s every move and stayed on the phone with authorities. The information provided by FIN was radioed in and multiple officers were dispatched to the bike’s location.

The Florida Highway Patrol was able to spot the truck and trailer, and a high-speed chase commenced. The Florida Highway Patrol successfully stopped the thief at a major intersection and safely apprehended the thief and the bike without further incident.
