Dealer Demo Rides at AIMExpo Outdoors! Added to the Dealer Experience in Orlando

Featured products from Suzuki, Yamaha, KYMCO and Massimo Motors were ready and waiting for demo rides from dealers at the AIMExpo Outdoors! area. The dealers hit the course and tested out new products in the custom riding areas.

Rounding out the dealer experience at the show are the AIMExpo Outdoors! demo rides, designated for testing the newest 2014 models for dirt and street. Off-road enthusiasts can enjoy Suzuki ATVs and Yamaha’s Viking side-by-side (SxS), as well as off-road selections from KYMCO and Massimo Motors. In the street experience, Yamaha is showcasing its newly introduced 850cc FZ-09, and Suzuki and KYMCO are offering demo rides on their road bikes and scooters.

Each on-road ride consists of a guide rider and follow rider from each manufacturer, as dealers got to ride along the perimeter and access roads of the Orange County Convention Center, traversing through a variety of turns in a safe and controlled environment.

Denny Johnson, MPN magazine’s recent Dealership Superstar winner, got to experience the AIMExpo Outdoors! riding areas Thursday as he rode a Suzuki DRZ400 Super Moto, Suzuki ATVs and the Yamaha Bolt. “I was very impressed with the amount of time I got on the bikes I rode and I’m now a big fan of the Bolt,” said Johnson, who is the finance manager at Beasley Honda Yamaha Kawasaki Suzuki in Ozark, Ala.

Also on the outdoor experience grounds, setting up for Friday’s media event, was Scorpion Motorsports in conjunction with Scorpion EXO, who are putting on a test drive for invited media to demonstrate its new GP helmet design and the performance of the unique three-wheel vehicle that is mated to a Yamaha R6 drivetrain. This will be one to watch!
