Dealership Superstar Winner Revealed

Brianna Rauenzahn Presented Top Spot!

Dealership Superstar program founders Peak Dealership Performance and MPN joined program sponsor Lazer Star in announcing the 2011 Dealership Superstar winner at the SEMA show on Nov. 1.

We’re thrilled to announce that Apparel Sales category winner Brianna Rauenzahn of The Service Pavilion in New Holland, Pa., took the top spot earning her a free trip to the SEMA Show as well as a $300 cash prize.

“Brianna Rauenzahn is a superstar because of how she impacts riders’ lives and experiences every day,” says Robert Miller owner of The Service Pavilion. “She is one of, if not the most experienced and knowledgeable Arai Helmets fitment and sales specialists in the world. Brianna is such a superstar, because of her passion to do what is right for the customer and/or the business. Brianna’s passion, honesty, knowledge, understanding, consideration, efficiency, determination, integrity, patience and her smile are all points to what make her a Dealership Superstar!”

The judging panel, which selected the category winners, was incredibly impressed by Miller’s nomination of Rauenzahn, and so were MPN’s readers. Rauenzahn beat out four other category winners via online voting with an impressive 1,577 of the total 2,266 votes cast.

We asked Rauenzahn to share what being named 2011 Dealership Superstar means to her, and here we share her response in her own words:

“My initial reaction to being named Dealership Superstar was complete surprise and shock.  Honestly, I was surprised not just by the win, but just be being nominated! I have worked really hard at my job for the past seven years, and it was really exciting to see the appreciation for my work expressed in this way.  I can still remember getting the phone call that I was selected as the finalist in my category — it was so exciting! Then to get the call that I was named THE Dealership Superstar was amazing. It has been a really exciting and special experience.

“Moving forward in powersports, I want to continue doing what I do. I love being able to interact with customers and help to improve their riding experience. I am fortunate to have a job that I love and a job that really does change lives. That may sound over the top, but the truth is, when someone who has been riding for 25 years with noisy, uncomfortable helmets finds out that they are wearing a helmet that is two or three sizes too big, it changes their entire riding experience to have a properly fitting helmet. There have been wives who didn’t want to ride with their husbands, then when they got a comfortable, quiet, properly fitted helmet, suddenly they wanted to ride all the time. And going to the complete extreme, helmets that I have sold have played a part in saving the lives of riders. That is an inexplicable feeling, and I am thrilled to have a job that allows me to do things like that for others. I am so proud to work for a company that does everything with integrity. Everyone here at The Service Pavilion is so passionate about what we do. I cannot imagine being anywhere else in the powersports industry, so moving forward, I just want to continue to be a part of the growth and success of The Service Pavilion.

“It is very difficult for me to name just one influence in my working life. Naturally, I got my initial impressions of work ethic from my family.  I grew up with two hardworking parents who always encouraged me and assured me that I could be anything I wanted to in life. They were never afraid to work hard and put in long hours to do what needed to be done. I also really looked up to my older sister. She got herself a job at a young age and always worked hard, even when her friends were all out having fun. Having that kind of example as I grew up certainly had an impact on me. As a result of those childhood influences, I have never been afraid to work, and work hard at whatever I do.

“As an adult, I have been strongly influenced by my boss (and husband), Robert Miller, who is one of the hardest working people I have ever known. Not only does he work tirelessly to complete whatever needs to be done, but he runs his business with so much passion and heart. I have also never seen anyone who runs their business with the integrity that Robert does. Oddly enough, doing so has not always resulted in positive experiences with consumers. There have been times that Robert had to turn a customer away, because he felt so strongly about what he does. He will not sell a helmet to someone if he feels it is too big and/or unsafe. He would rather lose a sale and keep his integrity than to go against his better judgment just to make the sale.  He is very honest and to the point with his customers, even if what he is going to tell them isn’t what they want to hear. While some may think that is bad business, I really respect him for it. I have learned so much about integrity and having passion for what you do from Robert.  He has been a great influence on my working life.”

MPN, Peak Dealership Performance and Lazer Star offer up congratulations to all the  finalists and to the Ultimate Dealership Superstar.
