The High Seas Rallies are known as one of the most charitable weeks of biker fun. This year during their 8th annual Western Caribbean rally cruise a Lehman Trike was used as the grand prize for one of the fund raising games aboard the ship.
That one game alone raised $49,500 to provide kidney dialysis treatments for next year’s dialysis patients onboard during the rally cruise. During that same game 33 rally passengers also won $2,500 each toward next year’s rally cabin ($82,500) and, of course, one lucky person won the grand prize Custom Lehman Trike. For the entire 2010 Western Caribbean rally cruise week $182,969 was raised to provide a vacation of a lifetime for bikers or friends of bikers that require kidney dialysis treatments to join the cruise for the rally next year for Alaska, June 18-25th or the Western Caribbean Oct.30-Nov. 6, 2011.
The giveaways in cash and vendor prizes giveaways for the 7-day 2010 W. Caribbean rally totaled $344,000. The fun was priceless. Event organizers thanked Lehman Trikes for helping the HOHS Dialysis fund beak the 1 million dollar mark on just their 12th rally cruise.
