Motorsport Aftermarket Group Names Scott Highland General Manager

Powersports industry veteran takes the reigns at DragonFire Racing

Motorsport Aftermarket Group, Inc. (MAG), a family of leading brands and businesses in the motorsport industry, recently announced the promotion of Scott Highland to General Manager of DragonFire Racing. Based in Mesa, Ariz., DragonFire Racing (DFR) is the leading supplier of aftermarket racing and performance parts for All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) and Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTVs) in the United States and abroad.

Highland – who will continue his responsibilities with MAG as Director of Dirt & Sport Bike Markets, a position he has held since 2008 — will report to MAG’s President and CEO, Brian Etter. Prior to joining MAG, Highland spent over 20 years in the powersports industry, working in key management roles at Xceldyne Technologies, CV Products, and JE Pistons.

“Scott brings 20-plus years of industry experience in the areas of sales, marketing, product development, racing, and general management,” said Etter. “His leadership and the strength of the team already in place at DFR, will help grow the business along with the UTV market.”

Etter commented on former DFR President and founder, Todd Romano, stating “We would like to recognize Todd’s efforts in building the DragonFire business and brand, and thank him for his continued support in this leadership transition.”
