Hyosung ST-E3 Electric Scooter Coming to America in 2011

Hyosung recently unveiled its new eco-friendly and energy efficient electric scooter called the ST E3 in Korea. ST E3 has a range of
approximately 120 km (74.6 miles) on a single charge while traveling at
a constant speed of 35 km/h (21.7 mph). Maximum speed is estimated at
60 km/h (37.3 mph).

With its VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display), the ride can easily read battery status, scooter body condition, and drive condition all simultaneously. The adoption of the MCU (Motor Control Unit) constantly checks overcharge and over-current and adjusts for premium conditions.

Hyosung Motors America, Inc. plans to launch the ST-E3 in United States, Canada and South America in 2011.
