Megan Martin Assumes Business Development Manager Role with HISUN USA

Martin will assist outside sales team members with dealer account management.

As HISUN USA continues to expand its authorized dealership footprint in the U.S., the company has added another key staff member to its sales team, with the hiring of Megan Martin as business development manager. Martin will assist outside sales team members with dealer account management in her new role and also help develop the HISUN dealer network in the South Central, Mountain and North Central territories.

Martin has been an enthusiast in the powersports and automotive worlds her entire life. Having grown up riding on the tank of her father’s motorcycle, her love for motorcycles started at an early age, and since then, she has owned dirt bikes, motorcycles, and an assortment of cars and trucks. Before coming to HISUN, Martin worked for a number of years at a European automotive business and was a part of its Porsche team that competed in the World Racing League (WRL) series. With an extensive list of motorsports experience, Martin is excited about her new challenge in the powersports industry as a business development manager.

Although this is Martin’s first foray into powersports, she’s excited about bringing her own unique perspective to the HISUN sales team. Her preferred management style is to treat others like family, put herself in others’ shoes, try to understand their positions, and always treat others with kindness and compassion. “If you treat your customers well through the good and bad, they will treat you well,” explained Martin. “I try to handle every situation and every dealer from their perspective. I try to understand their frustrations or enjoy their happiness.”

Jason Walling, national sales manager for HISUN USA, said, “We’re pleased to be able to add a key member to our sales team with the addition of Megan. Her attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and focus on building lasting customer relationships make her a key point of contact for our HISUN dealers in the United States. We’re thrilled to have Megan join our ever-growing list of powersports professionals here at Team HISUN USA.”

Added Martin, “I’ve always enjoyed learning about the mechanics of any machine I own, learning how to work on them and how to improve them. It’s pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me get to where I am today. The community of friends and connections I have made over the years has been incredible. I’m so excited to test my abilities in this position!”
