Eleven Engineering, Inc., a market leader in semiconductor products for wireless audio for home theater, multi-room, portable, professional, 12 Volt (car, truck, motorcycle, powersports, marine) and gaming applications and developer of renowned SKAA wireless solutions, announced that it has entered into a co-marketing agreement with Munich, Germany-based Infineon Technologies AG, an international leader in semiconductor solutions.
Infineon Technologies’ MERUS range of advanced audio amplifier solutions enables customers to maximize power efficiency, output power and audio performance while ensuring the greatest possible design freedom and fast time-to-market. Eleven Engineering products already available which incorporate this technology include Strawberry 3 and Saskatoon “off-the-shelf motherboards” and the Dillinger Labs Aquarius speakers.

Now, we will be even better equipped to integrate and market our wireless products utilizing Infineon’s incredibly efficient amplifier technologies from this point forward.”

This benefit is pretty obvious. What’s less obvious is the cost impact of using Infineon amplification. When you can eliminate costly items from the bill of materials such as output inductors, chassis boxes, and dedicated heat sinks, it makes our joint offerings fantastically attractive.”
