Klock Werks unveiled a new Flare Air Management Kit for the 2015+ Indian Scout and 2016+ Indian Scout Sixty motorcycles.
The new kit offers riders an OE Replacement Flare Windshield and a set of Klock Werks new Flare Wings to manage both the air coming directly at the rider as well as the air coming up from underneath the windshield.
“Our love of the Indian Motorcycle brand made it an easy choice for us to focus our design efforts on creating a better riding experience for Scout owners,” said Brian Klock, president and visionary of Klock Werks. “We continue to use information we learned from racing at the Bonneville Salt Flats to inform our design decisions.”
Klock Werks has set more than 15 Land Speed Records at the Bonneville Salt Flats and uses their racing time as an opportunity to test their designs and products.

The patented Flare Windshield design uses the “flip” – found at the top of the shield – to create an improved pocket of air for the rider and passenger and the “hips” – located on either side of the shield – add stability by creating downforce, and this is all done looking sexier than the stock offering.
The OE Replacement Flare Windshield measures 21.5-in. tall, measured from the top of the headlight cutout to the top of the shield, and 21-in. wide.
In addition to the windshield, this kit includes the new Klock Werks Flare Wings. The wings divert air out from underneath the windshield to help eliminate the side buffeting and swirl experienced when riding a stock setup. The design allows for up to 30° of adjustment so the rider can tailor the air to their needs. Made from Polycarbonate and hard-coated for additional abrasion resistance, Flare Wings come with all necessary attachment hardware.
