BAKER Drivetrain announced the release of the Comptimizer Heavy-Duty Compensator Spring. Designed as an upgrade to the stock outer spring in modern Harley-Davidson motorcycles, the component is intended for both stock and performance-built machines. It is engineered for Harley-Davidson V-Twin engines.

Performance, Noise Reduction

Technically, the Comptimizer increases the compensator’s torsional absorption capacity because of the additional total spring force that it provides. By doing so, it improves performance on startup and initial takeoff by controlling low speed compensator shutter and starter kickback. Riders will notice a smoother ride due to the improved power delivery and a reduction in noise because of the increased spring pressure. It also boosts the horsepower and torque capacity of the driveline.
