Monster Moto, a producer of off-road mini bikes and go-karts, has announced that its U.S.-based assembly operations are in high gear as the team works to complete its transition from overseas assembly operations. With its move to Ruston, La., there are now more than 60 employees currently employed at its new 100,000 square-foot headquarters and every product that comes off the assembly line is stamped with the “Proudly Assembled in the U.S.A.” label.
The process to bring assembly operations to the U.S. has taken about a year to complete with extensive restructuring of operations and logistics. By the end of 2017, Monster Moto plans to be assembling all of its products in the United States. Careful preparation throughout this transition has allowed Monster Moto to increase quality control while maintaining the same price point as when the products were being assembled overseas. Savings on bulk freight and a redesign of packaging has allowed Monster Moto the ability to offer the same high quality mini bikes and go-karts at the same low prices.
This transition has also had several positive impacts to the Ruston community. With the addition of numerous job positions, Monster Moto has been able to provide a positive impact to the local economy. Monster Moto expects the creation of more jobs next year as it continues to increase production capacity.
“We couldn’t be more excited about what we’ve done here at Monster Moto. We are employing highly-skilled, hard-working Americans to assemble our products, and we’ve already seen a significant increase in production and build quality,” said Alex Keechle, CEO of Monster Moto. “With so many companies sending jobs overseas, we are extremely proud that we have been able to establish a cost-effective solution that allows us to assemble high quality mini bikes and go-karts at a great price right here in the U.S.”
Monster Moto currently has a variety of key partners that are supporting the custom patterns available on several Monster Motor products including Mossy Oak, Realtree, Muddy Girl, and RCH Racing. Partnerships with several more top brands are already in development.
Monster Moto products are available at www.MonsterMoto.com and in hundreds of major retail locations throughout the country.
