One of the most popular segments of the powersports marketplace in recent years has been side-by-sides, or UTVs. Since its inception, the American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) has provided a significant stage for these multi-functional vehicles, from product launches to hands-on experiences at AIMExpo Outdoors!, where many of the latest vehicles can be taken for a free demo ride.
For 2016, AIMExpo’s showcase of the side-by-side segment will be stronger than ever thanks to enhanced features at AIMExpo Outdoors!, along with key aftermarket brands, including High Lifter Products as the latest side-by-side exhibitor at the event. AIMExpo 2016 will take place October 13-16 in the North Hall of Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center (OCCC).

AIMExpo Outdoors! has been one of many elements to set North America’s premier powersports trade show apart from any other event of its kind. The one-of-a-kind dedicated outdoor demo space is a proverbial powersports playground for any enthusiast, featuring exclusive demo opportunities for motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs from the industry’s most prominent OEMs. This October, AIMExpo’s new North Hall location at the OCCC will place the show floor mere steps from half a million square feet of demo space at AIMExpo Outdoors!, making the overall experience at the event more convenient and rewarding than ever. Dirt and street demos will be available from a wide array of exhibiting OEMs, including side-by-side demo drives from BRP | Can-Am, KYMCO, Suzuki, Yamaha, and more.

Side-by-sides are the fastest growing segment of the powersports industry, thanks largely to the all-around practicality and diverse selection of UTVs. Whether for hard labor or fun and adventure, the side-by-side segment has a vehicle for virtually any need with more than 230 makes and models available to consumers. For the 2016 calendar year an estimated 400,000-plus units will be sold in the United States alone.

In recognition of the importance of this segment, AIMExpo offers powersports dealers and enthusiasts the opportunity to experience first-hand the excitement of riding in one of the latest UTVs on a unique off-road track at AIMExpo Outdoors!, providing drivers and passengers with a real-world sense of what these vehicles are capable of.

In addition to the OEMs providing demo opportunities at AIMExpo Outdoors!, many of the most prominent brands in the side-by-side industry will showcase the latest products on the show floor including All Balls Racing, DFK, Mile Marker, Rival, Rockford Fosgate, Super ATV, TrakMotive, WARN and many more. Adding to this growing list is High Lifter, a leader in unique aftermarket accessories for utility vehicles, 4-wheel drive ATVs, UTVs, and RUVs. Established in 1996 in Shreveport, Louisiana, High Lifter has grown from a one-man hobby to a multi-million dollar corporation with 55 employees.

“High Lifter has committed to exhibiting at AIMExpo in 2016 because it’s where any business within the powersports industry needs to be, especially those in the side-by-side segment,” said High Lifter Event Coordinator Tracie Engi. “It provides much-needed exposure to the retail customer, while affording us the opportunity to establish new and build on current industry relationships.”

More than 500 exhibitors will showcase the latest the powersports industry has to offer at AIMExpo. In addition to new product launches, the latest innovations being showcased on the show floor, and an expansive demo space outdoors, AIMExpo attendees will have the opportunity to connect with others throughout the industry at numerous networking events, while dealer attendees can take advantage of seminars.
