Rockford Corp. has announced that it has added Alvin Klement and Ronnie Brashear to the Crimestopper sales team, effective immediately. Rockford has also recently added several key positions to the safety and security group, including JF Cleroux, director of product development; Orlando Sanchez, vehicle application technician; and Brad Marvin, marketing product specialist, to strengthen the company’s Crimestopper team.

“As the Crimestopper business continues to grow, we have been implementing the overall brand strategy, which includes putting together a comprehensive sales, marketing, and support team for this category,” explained Bill Jackson, Rockford Corp. president and CEO. “As meeting the needs of our customers is always a fluid process, we now have the key people in place to meet that goal and to move Crimestopper forward with these strong additions to the Rockford family.”

Klement, Crimestopper national sales manager, started in consumer electronics sales at the retail level working for Audio Express in North Carolina where he progressed through the ranks to store manager and eventually general manager of the 13-store chain. He then moved into manufacturing as a regional for Klipsch Group, and during his 14 years with them was promoted to a regional VP role. “Alvin’s experience, strong retail relationships, and passion to win make him a great addition to our team,” said Jackson.

Brashear, Crimestopper sales manager, comes to Rockford with 19 years experience in the 12 volt industry, 17 of those years in the security/remote start area of the business. He started in 1996 at Code Alarm and was most recently with Epsilon. “Ronnie also has a ton of experience in the security and remote starts category, which makes him an ideal Crimestopper sales manager,” Jackson concluded.

For more than 30 years in the North American market, Crimestopper, Inc. has been an industry leader in 12 Volt aftermarket electronics and has become a one-stop-shop for total vehicle security and safety needs. Over the past decade, the company has been recognized for offering the widest selection of vehicle security and remote start systems in the marketplace. It has also expanded its product line to include GPS tracking systems and a wide variety of vehicle safety products such as cameras, monitors, wireless video systems, collision avoidance and parking sensor systems, DVR systems, and tire pressure monitoring systems.
