Bob Parsons, founder of GoDaddy.com, announced the acquisition of Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson in Southaven, Miss., by YAM Worldwide, an organization owned by Parsons. The deal also includes two alternative retail outlets, Graceland Harley-Davidson and Blues City Harley-Davidson, located in Memphis, Tenn.

Bob Parsons is the CEO and founder of Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale and Go AZ Motorcycles. Parsons is also the founder and CEO of Spooky Fast Customs, which he says uses state-of-the-art technology and techniques to create customized motorcycle designs and fabrications.

“We are excited to introduce Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson into our family of dealerships,” said Parsons. “We have a real opportunity to leverage the seasonality of the Arizona and Mississippi markets and the talent at all three dealerships to deliver a world-class customer experience.”

Riding enthusiasts can look forward to an expanded calendar of events, bike nights, rides and community focused rallies. In addition, the dealership says it will add talent, inventory, and the latest technology and service equipment to move the dealership forward in its ability to anticipate and exceed the needs of customers.

“We sell fun,” said Parsons. “Harley-Davidson is a lifestyle brand and Southern Thunder will be a lifestyle dealership, similar to the Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale store, but with a high dose of Southern hospitality.”
