Custom Chrome International’s VP of Operations Resigns

After being promoted to the position in 2011, Gerry Bruce's last day with the company will be Friday, Nov. 2. He will remain a consultant through the month and possibly longer to complete the transition, according to the company.

Gerry Bruce has resigned as vice president of operations at Custom Chrome International. His last day with the company will be Friday, Nov. 2, but he will remain a consultant through the month and possibly longer to complete the transition, according to the company. He had been promoted to the VP role in 2011.

“Gerry has been very instrumental in the improved business model that has poised the company for future success; however he also has family in the Northeast that has influenced him greatly in this decision to step away from his current role,” said KC Cho, CEO of Custom Chrome. “We appreciate all of Gerry’s contributions to CCI and will miss seeing and having him as a part of our team but would like to wish him and his family the best in their future endeavors.”

“This is certainly one of the toughest decisions I have been faced with,” Bruce said. “Although my family has the highest level of support it is still a decision we were faced with and had to make. I feel like 2012 was a very important year for CCI and we accomplished many things. I will always have a deep passion and respect for this company and the entire staff. I requested they understand and respect my decision and I am glad to say they have done this in CCI fashion. I am leaving on good terms and will continue to support CCI throughout this process. I would like to thank all of the customers and vendors for their outstanding support; after all, it is the employees, vendors and dealers that will continue to be the driving force which will make CCI successful in the future. CCI has many long-term employees and will conduct business as usual throughout this transition. I would like to personally wish each and every one of them many years of success at CCI.”
