The American International Motorcycle Expo presented by Nationwide (AIMExpo) has welcomed the return of Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. in 2017 as the show makes its move to the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Ohio this September 21-24. Kawasaki is set to use the show’s platform to showcase a global new model reveal along with the public debut of several additional models.
“AIMExpo offers the ideal opportunity to reveal our exciting new products and connect the Kawasaki brand to our dealers, consumers and the media,” said Bill Jenkins, Kawasaki senior vice president, sales operations. “In addition to launching a new model to a global audience, we will also showcase our popular lineup of two and four-wheel products within our display, giving AIMExpo attendees the chance to see the latest models up close and personal.”
With the move to Columbus, Kawasaki will take full advantage of the show’s central location and proximity to powersports dealers.
“AIMExpo is really about the industry coming together in one place at one time to put a spotlight on new products and services being introduced that will excite and energize both dealers and consumers in the coming year,” said Larry Little, vice president and general manager, MIC Events. “We’re thrilled Kawasaki will leverage the show’s platform, and our continually expanding audience of media attendees, to introduce a key new model from the American stage to the world this September in Columbus!
In year’s past, Kawasaki has used AIMExpo to reveal the eye-catching Ninja H2 for the first time to the North American public as well as to debut its new state-of-the-art exhibitor display that features the latest in interactive consumer-facing technology.
Including Kawasaki, the 2017 event will feature the largest number of participating OEM companies since the show’s inception, with more than 500 total exhibitors expected on the show floor, making the fifth annual event’s debut in Columbus the most vibrant yet.
