iXS Hires Industry Vet Boaz as National Sales and Marketing Manager

Swiss motorcycle gear specialist iXS says it is focusing on improving the service of its dealers around the world. The company's first step to building the brand in the U.S. is the addition of Jeffery Boaz as National Sales & Marketing Manager. 

Swiss motorcycle gear specialist iXS  has taken a step toward focusing on improving the service of its dealers with the addition of Jeffery Boaz as national sales and marketing manager.

“Jeffery brings a wealth of knowledge and strong background in the U.S. Market,” said iXS managing director, Edwin Belonje. “He will work very closely with the team to bring added success to our growth in the USA.”

Most recently Brand Manager for FirstGear, Boaz has three decades of experience in the motorcycle industry. After starting at the dealership level with Dudley Perkins Harley-Davidson in the Bay Area, he worked his way up through the OEM ranks with Triumph Motorcycles America LTD. On the apparel side, Boaz has brought dozens of products to market, including riding gear and helmets with Fulmer, Venture Heat and Schuberth North America.

“Working with a company that has a solid background and is focused on success for dealers and consumers alike is a refreshing change of pace,” says Boaz. “I have always admired the fit, finish and functionality of iXS technical apparel and I am really looking forward to expanding its presence in America.”

His diverse background meshes well with the iXS’ range of products that including everything from road racing leathers to adventure touring textiles and motocross gear.

“Switzerland is a country full of mountains and passes, where one can easily encounter the four seasons within the span of a single day,” explains Boaz. “This is why they know which features and functions motorcyclists need. Every piece is researched, designed, developed and tested to ensure it meets the highest Swiss quality standards, and is also characterized by a combination of smart functions.”
