Yamaha Motor Corp., USA, is expanding its “Destination Yamaha” rental program with new locations across the country featuring the most comprehensive and diverse line of adventure vehicles. The expanded program will open up new unit retail, apparel, parts, accessories and service opportunities through authorized rental and tour operators, while also attracting new customers to the world of powersports.
Yamaha dealers interested in learning more can find details of the expanded program on a newly launched website at DestinationYamahaUSA.com.
The goal of Destination Yamaha is to support rental operators and Yamaha’s motorsports dealers by attracting both new and seasoned riders with the opportunity to experience a variety of Yamaha products in exciting locations. Destination Yamaha features rental opportunities for Yamaha ATVs, side-by-side vehicles, motorcycles and snowmobiles, representing the most comprehensive line of durable and reliable powersports products available from a rental program.
“Destination Yamaha opens up a new opportunity for our dealer network to engage with customers and benefit from all the supporting products and services that come with rental operations,” said Steve Nessl, Yamaha’s motorsports marketing manager. “We know a demo ride is key to ownership, and dealers who have strong ties to rental operations will benefit from this program the most; we expect to create a network of customers interested in purchasing a new unit after experiencing the powersports adventure first-hand through our rental partners.”
With the recent expansion efforts, Destination Yamaha is building on nearly 50-years of rental partnerships dating back to the 1970s with snowmobile operators in popular U.S. riding areas like Yellowstone and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. With established operations and the best products in motorsports, Destination Yamaha is uniquely positioned to provide one of the most exciting adventure travel opportunities across the U.S., while affording Yamaha dealers the added benefits from daily riding opportunities at their local operator’s facility.
