ROXOR Donates to AdventureVet to Assist with Combat Wounded Veterans

Mahindra Automotive North America has donated three ROXOR off-road vehicles to AdventureVet to help combat wounded veterans with outdoor therapy and training.

Mahindra Automotive North America has donated three ROXOR off-road vehicles to AdventureVet to help combat wounded veterans with outdoor therapy and training.

AdventureVet is a non-profit organization that offers outdoor/adventure activities; recreational therapy, vocational training and additional life changing, lifesaving holistic wellness programs. The programs are specifically developed to assist wounded and amputee combat veterans with their needs and the issues they deal with on a daily basis.

“AdventureVet is simply getting veterans and their families outside, back into the environment and participating in activities that remind them how great it is to be alive,” said Dave Frey, co-founder of AdventureVet. “Having a ROXOR with hand controls that can be driven by just about any veteran, regardless of their injuries, is a game-changer. It opens up a whole new world of adventure for our vets that we owe so much to.”

Until now, veterans unable to pilot conventional vehicles could only enjoy the ROXOR experience from the passenger seat. Now, a 2020 ROXOR A/T modified with hand controls puts them in the driver’s seat.

With the installation of steering column mounted brake and accelerator control levels and a steering handle, wounded veterans are now able to enjoy the outdoor and off-road lifestyle in a ROXOR.

“ROXOR has long-standing military heritage and we’re proud to support this initiative to help injured veterans,” said Richard Ansell, vice president of marketing for Mahindra Automotive North America. “Providing ROXOR off-road vehicles to AdventureVet ensures military veterans are able to enjoy the great outdoors in the driver’s seat. These are some tough and driven men and women and we’re happy to be getting them back out onto the trails, doing something they love to do.”

Mahindra Automotive North America is committed to growing the unique design and engineering attributes that make it one of the toughest, strongest and authentic off-road work/play in the United States.

This simple platform has proven its sturdiness and comes with an industry-leading limited warranty of two years or 12,000 miles. Starting at MSRP $16,599 (USD). Fleet discounts are available.
