Thousands of powersports dealers nationwide will now be able to integrate off-highway safety videos into their programing on their MOTOTV playlists. These 30- and 60-second safety videos, produced by the Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association (ROHVA) and the Specialty Vehicle Institute of America (SVIA), provide safety tips, encouragement to find the right gear, where to find training and emphasize the importance of training to improve driving and riding skills.Â
“MOTOTV Networks is truly a dealer’s network, designed to showcase the products and services they sell and would like to promote, making it a powerful tool for dealers, manufacturers and sponsors to reach a highly-targeted powersports audience right at the point of sale,” said Bill Dreska, director of sponsorships at MOTOTV Networks. “ROHVA and SVIA do a great job of leveraging the reach of our networks to bring vital information directly to riders in a dealership where they are surrounded by the proper safety gear to purchase and knowledgeable people to provide additional help.”
“MOTOTV is a great way for our associations to reach riders and drivers with messages of safety and training,” said Erik Pritchard, president and CEO of ROHVA and SVIA.Â
MOTOTV Networks plays on more than 5,000 screens in dealerships across the U.S. and Canada and offers dealers a simple interface to customize their TVs throughout their dealerships. These SVIA and ROHVA videos can be added to any dealer’s network and are currently available in the MOTOTV dashboard, “Promo_GearSafety” and “Promo_RidingSafety” folders. Current topics include:Â
- Gear safety:
- Gear up for every ride
- How a helmet should fit
- How to put on a helmet
- ATV incentives (lessons)
- Riding safety:Â
- Proper riding position
- Approaching blind corners
- Approaching hills.
More videos will be added later this year.
