Indian Motorcycle Unveils New Chief Classic, Chief Vintage and Chieftain

Polaris-owned Indian Motorcycles unveiled three new 2014 models at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally on Aug. 3. Starting MSRP for the bikes range from $18,999 for the Chief Classic, $20,999 for the Chief Vintage and $22,999 for the Indian Chieftain.

Polaris Announces Record Second Quarter Net Income

The OEM reports net income of $80.0 million, or $1.13 per diluted share, for the quarter ended June 30, 2013, up 15 percent from the prior year’s second quarter net income of $69.8 million, or $0.98 per diluted share. Sales for the second quarter 2013 totaled a record $844.8 million, an increase of 12 percent over last year’s second quarter sales of $755.4 million.
