After a beta testing phase this summer for their custom seat segment, Mustang Motorcycle Products LLC will attend the International Motorcycle Show Dec. 13-15 at the Jacob Javits Center. As an added attraction, custom bike enthusiasts will be treated to a sneak peek at the Perewitz “Signature Series” seats at the NYC IMS event.
New England bike customizer Dave Perewitz will be displaying several of his creations in the J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show area, including a Pro Street Bagger with a Mustang seat, as well as a 2013 Custom FL Bagger featuring a Perewitz Signature Seat by Mustang. Dave isn’t the only Perewitz in the house; his daughter is bringing her record setting bike to NYC this weekend as artist Eric Herrmann will unveil his new painting of Jody Perewitz, the world’s fastest woman.
“The painting is 22 inches x 28 inches — I can’t wait to see it in person,” says Perewitz. “Eric and my dad will both be in the Team J’witz booth, along with my race bike.”
“We are working closely with Dave and Jody Perewitz on the upcoming line of Signature Seats … the ones on display are pre-production prototypes, but they might give you an idea where we are going with these designs,” said marketing director Marilyn Simmons. “More details will follow in a couple months for the Perewitz seats, but if you can’t wait, we will also be showing off our Custom Seat Program, which gives you the opportunity to design your own seat.”
The Perewitz custom bikes, the Eric Herrmann painting and Jody’s record setting bike will all be on display at the IMS stop in New York.
