Keith Ball of Bikernet Acquires Trike Riders Now Website

Keith R. Ball, editor and owner of Bikernet.com, has acquired TrikeRidersNow.com, an online magazine covering the three-wheeled industry.

Keith R. Ball, editor and owner of Bikernet.com, has acquired TrikeRidersNow.com, an online magazine covering the three-wheeled industry.

TrikeRidersNow.com was launched in 2009 by Genevieve Schmitt, editor and owner of WomenRidersNow.com. Schmitt will join Ball in creating the Bikernet online portal where visitors can find all of the company’s motorcycle web sites that now includes Bikernet, Bikernet Trikes (formerly Trike Riders Now), Bikernet Baggers and Women Riders Now.

"I am excited to add Trikes to the Bikernet family," said Ball. "The trike market is one of the fastest growing segments of the powersports industry. That, along with our new bagger site and Genevieve’s Women Riders Now site, will provide online motorcycle enthusiasts all the information they want from one family of websites."

"I couldn’t have found a better person than Keith to take over Trike Riders Now at this time," said Schmitt. "By handing over the reins to Keith and his staff, I can focus on expanding WomenRidersNow.com, which in its seven years of existence has firmly planted itself as the leader in motorcycling news, reviews and information aimed at women."

While Ball becomes the new owner of Trike Riders Now, Women Riders Now is still completely owned by Schmitt. However, by being part of the Bikernet family of sites and cross-linking them to each other, advertisers will have greater opportunities to target their campaigns, according to the company.
