How GPR Italia SRL is Revolutionizing the Motorcycle Parts Sector

The Italian company is producing high-quality motorcycle exhausts while committing to the first environmental certification, ISO 14021.

In today’s world, the two-wheeled motorcycle parts sector has harnessed a negative reputation for seemingly having no concern or respect for the environment and only complying with emission laws as needed. However, there are a handful of companies who are dismantling this stigma one exhaust at a time. GPR Italia SRL is on a purpose-driven mission to produce eco-friendly exhausts for motorcycles while becoming the primary aftermarket supplier for motorcycle riders all over the world.

Through its Impact Zero project, GPR has created products that are high-quality, efficient-client, recyclable and manufactured to bring their carbon footprint in the motorcycle parts sector to zero.

GPR Italia SRL seeks to obtain the first environmental certification, ISO 14021, by the end of 2021 and debuted its proprietary exhausts at the EICMA 2021 Trade Show in Milan, Italy. From the start, GPR wanted to create exhausts with performance and sustainability in mind but took this ideal to a new level in 2021. GPR wanted to continue the strong and efficient production and craftsmanship that Italian parts are known for, maintaining eco-conscious values and adaptation of the 3R rule: reduce, reuse, recycle. As of now, all GPR exhausts are produced with at least 51% recycled materials, and once produced, they are 95% recyclable when they have expired. From the manufacturing floor to the offices, the break room and everything in between, GPR continues to strive to have zero impact on the environment, upgrading facilities, materials and processes to meet its goals and standards. The manufacturing floor has undergone immense upgrades, and all CNC machines will now use little to no oil, and laser cutting machines will cut with compressed air instead of gas.

GPR Italia SRL has purchased a small forest that was going to be torn down, which it renamed GPR Park. The trees within GPR park have the capacity of absorbing a greater amount of fine dust particles than the amount emitted from the manufacturing of the exhausts, thereby reducing GPR Italia’s impact on the environment to zero.

The changes brought forth in 2021 not only created a clean and efficient process but also improved the quality of the exhausts. These exhausts now have a 35% longer lifespan, maintain unparalleled quality and craftsmanship, and continue to come at a competitive price point compared to other aftermarket competitors. GPR also produces many types of exhausts in several materials for most motorcycle makes and models. From a single tip to dual tip, stainless steel, titanium and aluminum, buyers can seamlessly find exhausts that work for their models, colors, styles and preferences.

Through proof of concept, dedication to innovation and unwavering commitment to meeting Impact Zero goals without sacrificing quality, GPR Italia SRL’s purpose-driven vision has come to fruition.
