The original, patented Flare Windshield was developed at Klock Werks out of a desire for stability at highway speeds and for racing on the Bonneville Salt Flats. The Flare is the original windshield of its kind, Klock Werks says, and has surprised riders everywhere with not only how great it looks, but also with how well it performs. The innovative design features "hips" at the outer edge of the shield that reroute the air to add downforce to the front of the bike, which aids stability compared to using the stock shield. The "flip" at the top of the Flare is designed to kick the air up and then allow it to flow back as "clean,” less turbulent air for the rider. The Klock Werks Flare Windshield is available for most Hareley-Davidson models and the Victory Cross Country.
