Robert Barker, an American motorcycle innovator had a storied career in motorcycle engineering. Bob grew up in Altadena, California and could be found learning life’s lessons at San Gabriel Drag Strip, Santa Barbara, or Marchbanks Speedway. Bob died in his sleep on May 25, 2015.

American Motorcyclist Association Gathers Nearly 8,000 Signatures on Anti-E15 Petition

The AMA has asked for signatures to its online petition that urges the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency not to increase the proposed renewable fuel volumes this year and, instead, to adopt lower mandates. As of July 18, about 7,800 people had signed.

AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame to Induct Four More Members to Round Out 2015 Class

The American Motorcyclist Association has announced two more inductees of the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Class of 2015. Race team manager Keith McCarty and dirt-track racer Alex Jorgensen will be inducted Oct. 17 in Orlando as part of the 2015 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
