In a recent promotion, Joe Caban was named the new operations supervisor at ASA Electronics. His responsibilities will now include supervising the shipping and receiving department. He was elevated from his previous position of production supervisor where he was responsible for warranty and fabrication. Joe will continue to be in charge of all his previous responsibilities and is looking forward to adding this new facet to his daily activities.

“Joe’s experience and demonstrated talents have made him a natural choice for operations supervisor. He came to ASA from Best Buy as a master installer. His expertise in electronics and installation made him a perfect fit to run the fabrication and warranty departments. Joe’s common sense approach and knowledge of end item application helped him to guide builds in fabrication. He has been able to monitor all processes and lead in improvements to accuracy and in the quality of the parts produced. He was instrumental in promoting change within fabrication that has now become an ongoing process of continuous improvement with each person in the department,” Kurt Wood, operations manager at ASA Electronics said.

He has been with the company for nearly four years and has a proven track record in the positions that he has held.

“I am thankful for the opportunities I have been given at ASA and for the team members and managers that have helped me to reach my goals,” Caban said.
