Rockford Fosgate announced that its high-performance mobile audio systems will come standard on the new Tanom Motors Invader TC-3 reverse trike audio package. A fusion of super bike and super car, the high performance reverse trike was unveiled at SEMA booth #37053.
“Rockford Fosgate equipment has been available from leading car manufacturers for many years,” said Bill Jackson president of Rockford Corporation. “But those who love to ride motorcycles and powersport vehicles had to sacrifice quality sound or retrofit a Rockford system. We’re pleased that Tanom Motors is the first company in this niche to offer one of our systems from the factory.”
Tanom Motors integrated Rockford Fosgate equipment because the company’s premium sound and leading technology products met rigorous standards. “We’re proud to have an alliance with Rockford Fosgate,” said Adam Canni, director of design for Tanom Motors, who collaborated on the Invader TC-3’s design.
“The two brands are in perfect alignment because both are committed to delivering a high performance experience using cut-edge technology. I’m excited about the opportunity to offer a premium audio system to our customers.”
The Invader’s reverse trike configuration features an enclosed cockpit surrounded by a fiberglass body. Inside, there are two side-by-side bucket seats and controls similar to those found in sports cars. The crowning technology is a factory installed Rockford Fosgate audio system with a 300-watt, four-channel amplifier and four 6.5-inch Fosgate full range speakers.
Rockford Fosgate’s PBR300X4 is a full-range, 4-channel amplifier designed for stereo systems in small spaces. Ideal for motorcycles and recreational vehicles, the amp features Boosted Rail Technology (BRT) in an ultra-efficient design that generates 300 watts of power. This allows the amps to deliver big, powerful sound without a big current draw and withstand the rigors of the road. The P1653 Punch full-range speaker has a “Flex Fit” basket that allowed Tanom to adapt it to any shape speaker location. The 6.5-inch speakers have an integrated concealed crossover that eliminated the need to mount a black box.
