Drag Specialties, Parts Unlimited Gear up for 71st Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

The world-renowned Sturgis Motorcycle Rally reaches its 71st Anniversary this year starting August 8, 2011. Held in and around the city of Sturgis, S.D., this week-long gathering attracts riders and enthusiasts from around the globe, and Drag Specialties and Parts Unlimited have announced they will be heavily involved, providing on-site assistance at dealerships throughout the area.

Held in and around the city of Sturgis, S.D., this week-long gathering attracts riders and enthusiasts from around the globe, and Drag Specialties and Parts Unlimited have announced they will be heavily involved, providing on-site assistance at dealerships throughout the area.

“We are proud to support our dealers at the Sturgis Rally,” said Greg Blackwell, VP of Sales for LeMans Corporation. “This is a huge event that is like no other. The sales opportunities for the dealers in the area are incredible and we are happy that we can support them with our vendors, our trucks and displays and our sales people. Dealer support is our priority as the dealers are the backbone of our business.”

Devoted to the industry and its enthusiasts, Drag Specialties and Parts Unlimited will be in Sturgis as well as Rapid City leading up to and throughout the festival. The Drag Specialties semi trucks will be on display and fully staffed from August 3-14 at J & P Cycles in Sturgis (1650 Lazelle St.) and at Black Hills Haley-Davidson in Rapid City (2820 Harley Drive).

On the metric side, Parts Unlimited will have their truck at Sturgis Yamaha (2695 Lazelle St.) from August 4-6 and at then at Rice Honda in Rapid City (301 Campbell St.) from August 7-10. Both stops will include vendor displays from brands like Thor, Icon, Moose Racing, Z1R, and many more. There will also be knowledgeable staff on-hand to help riders with any questions they may have.
