JE Pistons, a manufacturer of forged and billet racing pistons for automotive and powersports applications, recently announced that it has achieved ISO 9001:2008 quality certification.

By achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification, JE has again demonstrated its commitment to quality for the design, manufacture and distribution of pistons to global markets. This effort accompanies a large investment in new CNC machinery and equipment in 2010, an effort that has further separated JE Pistons from the competition.

"We have always had a strong focus on quality at JE Pistons," said Chuck Johnson, Quality and Engineering Technical Manager at JE Pistons. "The ISO 9001:2008 certified quality management system insures to our customers that we have the appropriate processes in place to support our continuous improvement efforts and provide our customers with excellent service and quality."

Established in 1947, JE Pistons is an industry leader in forged and billet racing pistons for the automotive and powersports aftermarket. The top engine builders in NASCAR, American Le Mans Series, NHRA, AMA Supercross and others use JE Pistons. Utilizing state-of-the-art CNC machines for manufacturing along with purpose-designed forgings, JE is able to maintain exacting specifications on each and every piston and hold tolerances to millionths of an inch.
