Parts Unlimited/Drag Specialties reports record-breaking attendance at its 17th annual National Vendor Presentation (NVP) and Showcase held in Madison, Wis. Aug. 17-22.

Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties representatives met with hundreds of vendors to discuss new products and programs, and according to the company, numerous vendors commented on just how enthusiastic, engaging and motivated the reps were throughout the six-day event.

“The dealers in attendance at this year’s NVP Dealer Showcase really impressed me,” commented one vendor. “They asked a lot of really good questions, were excited to hear about the new programs and had an overall positive outlook on the coming year.”

The CEO of LeMans Corp., Fred Fox was equally enthusiastic about the event.

“NVP this year was a tremendous success,” said Fox. “We had dealers, vendors and reps all tell us how pleasantly surprised they were that despite the down economy, everyone in attendance was really focused on making the best of the situation and taking advantage of the excellent programs and increased margins we have developed for the coming year.”

Greg Blackwell, VP of Sales added, “We have received numerous emails from vendors commenting that they felt this was the best NVP ever, it was an exhilarating experience and the dealers were really engaged and took everything much more serious than in years past. We couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.”

The NVP attendees also enjoyed some one-on-one time with some of the world’s fastest racers as Ryan Villopoto, Jake Weimer, Josh Strang, Mike Brown and others took time to chat with everyone during the Meet & Greet at the Janesville Distribution Center.
