NPA Sales Manager Announcements

Dustin Krepp, Marc Buck and Donny Erickson move into new roles.

Dustin Krepp Promoted to Eastern Regional Sales Manager

National Powersport Auctions (NPA) has announced the promotion of Dustin (Dusty) Krepp as the new eastern regional sales manager. In his new role, Krepp will continue to represent Pennsylvania dealers and the sales growth and leadership of the NPA eastern territory team.

Powersports runs in his blood, as he started riding at age four and still enjoys competing in hare scrambles with his brothers. Krepp started his career at his family’s powersport dealership as a kid, washing bikes and sweeping the parking lot. Through the years, he worked his way up to general manager. When his family sold its dealership, NPA was fortunate to have Krepp join the team as the northeast territory sales manager.

As a 25-year industry veteran, Krepp is ready to enter his new position. “I look forward to working with our amazing team of territory sales managers (TSMs) in the eastern region as we continue to grow our relationships with dealers and share the services NPA provides to help inventory needs,” stated Krepp.

Krepp has been with NPA since 2011 and has done an exemplary job at managing and growing the northeast. Originally his territory covered New England. Now from his Pennsylvania base, Krepp will work with the entire eastern region of TSMs, which runs from the top of Maine to the tip of Florida and inland as far as Michigan down to Alabama. “In his 11 years with NPA, Dusty has continuously shown integrity, passion and dedication to his territory. With the growing NPA business and new Lakeland location, it came time for us to establish a regional sales manager position. We are excited to have Dusty in this new role as we continue to grow the region and the company,” said Mike Murray, vice president of sales.

The next NPA Philadelphia auction is Wednesday, Aug. 17, with the preview day on Aug. 16. Dealers can contact Dusty Krepp at [email protected] or (716) 353-3322.

Marc Buck Hired as New Territory Sales Manager for NPA Philadelphia Facility

NPA has announced Marc Buck as the TSM for the Northeast territory. Buck is now the NPA TSM for New York all the way up to Maine. Buck is working closely with his predecessor, Dusty Krepp, who was promoted to regional sales manager of the eastern territories, for a smooth transition of responsibilities.

Since the age of 18, Buck has been riding motorcycles. In his early 20s, he was involved with amateur road racing. His powersports passion continued with teaching his young boys to ride. Now Buck supports his adult children as they compete in New England Trail Rider Association (NETRA) hare scrambles and ATV racing in the New York Off Road Series. Buck has over 15 years of industry experience that started at New England Cycle Center in Connecticut, where he took on a plethora of responsibilities from sales to finance. After seven years at the dealership, Buck opened a successful dealership with a friend that quadrupled in size to accommodate its growing inventory. Buck then went to work for Freedom Road Harley-Davidson before joining NPA.

Buck’s extensive knowledge and dealership experience are valuable assets in his new role with NPA. “I worked with NPA at the dealerships, and I look forward to this opportunity to provide all the benefits I have experienced to others. Representing a company that provides such a wide variety of services for dealerships without requiring a significant commitment is exciting. I’m ready to get started and build these relationships,” stated Buck.

Buck is a welcome addition to the NPA sales team because he understands how fundamental the pre-owned market is to a dealership. “With Dusty Krepp’s promotion, we were searching for the right fit to fill his territory, and we found that with Marc Buck. We are excited to have Marc on board and for him to maintain current relationships and start building new ones in the territory. We understand that dealers have options regarding their pre-owned inventory, and adding Marc’s firsthand experience to the team helps dealers see the possibilities with NPA,” said Murray.

Dealers can reach Buck at [email protected] or (959) 255-4392.

Territory Sales Manager Donny Erickson Moved to NPA Atlanta Facility

NPA has announced Donny Erickson’s relocation to TSM Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina from his current role as TSM in southern Texas. As NPA expands its team of TSM professionals in the Eastern region, the territory realignment builds on Erickson’s expertise and allows him and the existing sales team at NPA to devote even more time to our dealers.

The U.S. Army veteran began his enthusiasm for powersports as a boy riding his neighbor’s minibike. Now Erickson’s primary ride is a 1989 GSXR750. “It’s a privilege to work with my dealerships and the staff at NPA Atlanta who all share the same passion as I do for powersports. We have the same goal of growing the industry while making it easier to do business for everyone involved,” commented Erickson.

Over Erickson’s 20-year powersports career, he’s covered motorcycle performance product research and design, supply chain management, retail sales and territory sales management. December will mark Erickson’s 10th year at NPA as a TSM. Before his latest territory assignment, Erickson was a TSM for NPA Dallas. Erickson said, “I’m looking forward to the challenge of pushing a new territory to its fullest, and being near the Rocky Mountains will be an additional bonus.”

Erickson enjoys working with dealers to provide guidance on specific inventory to buy, sell or auction using in-depth industry knowledge and NPA’s comprehensive value information and data services. “We are excited to have Donny explore growing our Tennessee and Carolina regions. His industry knowledge, drive and outgoing personality have contributed to the success of NPA. He is an important asset who is part of why NPA remains the number-one provider of auction services in the powersport industry. We are pleased to have him continue doing what he does best,” said Murray.

The next NPA Atlanta auction will be held on Aug. 19, with the preview day on Aug. 18. Preview inventory at NPAuctions.com. Dealers can reach Erickson at [email protected] or (469) 401-1378.
