MX Sports Announces Participants for 1st Loretta Lynn’s Apprentice Program

A total of 24 individuals were selected from nearly 200 applicants, with each possessing the promise and eagerness to potentially pursue a career in the motocross industry.

As bikes take to the track for the first time today for the 39th running of the Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, MX Sports has announced the participants for the first ever Loretta Lynn’s Apprentice program. A total of 24 individuals were selected from nearly 200 applicants, with each possessing the promise and eagerness to potentially pursue a career in the motocross industry.

A total of eight occupational positions, ranging from media to operations, were offered for interested applicants, many of whom possessed previous experience within their desired field. With the introduction of the Loretta Lynn’s Apprentice, MX Sports hopes to discover the next generation of talent that will carry on the legacy of American motocross into the future.

“As an organization founded on providing a platform for both the motocross and off-road motorcycle industry to compete and flourish at the highest level, the creation of the Loretta Lynn’s Apprentice was a natural extension of the efforts of MX Sports,” said Tim Cotter, MX Sports event director. “We are advocates for the industry, and we couldn’t think of a better way to foster a promising future for American motocross than to introduce a program that allows us to bring aspiring talent to the forefront. The Apprentice program embodies the same spirit as the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship, but rather than discover the next generation of racers, we’re in search of those who can elevate other vital areas of the sport.”

This collection of 24 Apprentices from all over the country will serve an integral role across an array of occupations vital to the overall success of the 2020 event at Loretta Lynn’s.
