Montréal Welcomes New Exclusive Ducati Dealership

The newest North American dealership opened its doors to the community to share not only Ducati’s newest motorcycles, but also a distinct gathering place for clients and new Ducati family members, with the opening of a Ducati Caffé and Bistro Lounge within the new retail locale.

Québec’s metropolis welcomed hundreds of Ducatisti, local VIPs, personalities and business leaders, all joining together in celebration of the grand opening of Ducati Montréal, the Italian motorcycle and lifestyle brand’s newest exclusive dealership. In attendance amid the bustling atmosphere within the expansive new retail location was Ducati‘s Vice President of Global Sales, Francesco Milicia and Ducati North America’s Chief Executive Officer, Jason Chinnock.

“Ducati’s presence in Canada continues to grow each year,” said Milicia, VP of global sales with Ducati’s headquarters in Bologna, Italy. “This new flagship location in Montréal will serve as a beacon for Ducati globally. Canada is a premium and sophisticated motorcycle market and strengthening the global dealer network here in the Québec region is a signal of our commitment to Canada.”

The newest North American dealership opened its doors to the community to share not only Ducati’s newest motorcycles, but also a distinct gathering place for clients and new Ducati family members, with the opening of a Ducati Caffé and Bistro Lounge within the new retail locale. A perfect spot for socializing and sharing the Ducati lifestyle, the Ducati Caffé and Bistro Lounge are unique to the Montréal location, making it the first expansion of its kind in North America offering coffee and café fare along with the great conversation all Ducati dealerships are known for.

“There’s a decidedly European flair to Montréal that blends perfectly with Ducati’s Mediterranean heritage and Italy’s cultural love of community,” said Chinnock, chief executive of Ducati North America. “Motorcycling shares that same affinity for comradery, which we see in the enthusiasm of our Ducati clients in Québec. They’re just as happy chatting about the new Panigale V4 R with a seasoned Ducatista as they are with someone who just bought their first Scrambler and is new to riding. This new exclusive location at Ducati Montréal is now the perfect place for clients to gather and share riding stories, or stock up on apparel and accessories before heading out on a road trip discovering the beauty of Québec.”

The new facility has a showroom of 6,000 square-feet with a service center adding an additional 4,000 square-feet. There is also a dedicated Scrambler Camp and workshop showcasing “The Land of Joy.”

Ducati Montréal is located at 7100 Boul Métropolitain E, Anjou, QC H1M 1A1, Canada, in the Anjou arrondissement of Montréal, with easy accessibility from Autoroute 40 and 25. A ribbon cutting ceremony with dealer principals Jacques Guénette and Lynn Landry along with Ducati executives marked the occasion of the new facility among excited crowds.

“We’re very proud to be able to start a business relationship with Ducati, which has the highest standards that exists,” said Guénette, who added that he and his team have been working for more than 18 months to put the project together. “Our Ducati store is the first one of its kind in Canada and we are honored to host Francesco Milicia and Jason Chinnock at our inaugural event, as well, to mark the start of this new beginning.”

A diverse selection of Ducati’s new motorcycles was also on display for the soirée, including the new Panigale V4 R and the growing Scrambler brand, in addition to the Multistrada touring motorcycle lineup.
