ARGO Brings Jim Shockey Adventures to Television

Jim Shockey will continue to push the boundaries of adventure in 2019 aboard ARGO amphibious XTVs for the television show "Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures" on the Outdoor Channel.

Renowned wilderness guide Jim Shockey will continue to push the boundaries of adventure in 2019 aboard ARGO amphibious Xtreme Terrain Vehicles for the award-winning television show “Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures” on the Outdoor Channel.

Shockey relies on a fleet of ARGO XTV models to navigate and traverse some of the most rugged and remote terrain in North America, transporting hunters and television viewers along with the legendary guide. Whether it’s mountains, rivers, lakes, swamps or snow, Shockey and his crew are undaunted in their pursuit of trophy game.

An ARGO Conquest 800 Outfitter 8×8 is frequently featured in Shockey’s adventures thanks to the carrying capacity of its large chassis, the traction and flotation of eight low-pressure tires, and the reliability of its 30-hp liquid-cooled EFI V-Twin engine. Equipped with 7.1 gallon fuel tank, 9 inches of ground clearance, 2,000-pound towing capacity, and two camo color options, the Conquest Outfitter is built for the adventures that Shockey and viewers dream of.

“We’re big fans of Jim Shockey’s adventures because they’re great entertainment and they inspire us to have our own hunting and wilderness adventures,” said Brad Darling, ARGO President. “Not everyone hunts in the most remote locations in North America, but each of us can explore the lands we like to fish, hunt and find our own adventures.”

“Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures” can be seen on the Outdoor Channel, and online at outdoorchannel.com.
